Organic + Sustainable
All of our clothes are made from 100% certified organic cotton. Organic cotton is safer for your baby’s skin and the earth. Importantly, it’s healthier for the farmers and workers who grow and harvest the cotton.
In what other ways is Little Lentil sustainable?
Our Send-Back Program
It can be complicated and time-consuming to responsibly dispose of your baby’s used clothes. We’re so excited to share that from day #1, we’ll implement a Send-Back Program.
Not sure what to do with the clothes your baby has outgrown? Send them back to us and we’ll reuse, repurpose, or responsibly recycle them for you. As a thank you, we’ll give you 15% off your next Little Lentil order.
Carbon Offsets on Shipping
Shipping can be detrimental to the Earth. We purchase carbon credits to offset carbon dioxide emissions on our shipments.
We understand the excitement that comes with a beautifully packaged purchase. At Little Lentil, we aim for both beautiful and minimalist packaging. All elements of our packaging can be recycled and most can be composted.
Details on various ways to recycle our packaging are below. If you have any further questions on how to recycle Little Lentil packaging, please email us at Info@LittleLentilClothing.com.
Our boxes are made from 100% post-consumer recycled material. When you’re done with your Little Lentil clothes, please use the same box to return the clothes via our Send-Back Program.
Not sending back your clothes? The boxes are 100% recyclable and biodegradable. Please either recycle or compost them.
Our poly mailers are made from 100% post-consumer recycled material. They contain two adhesive strips. When you’re done with your Little Lentil clothes, please use the same poly mailer to return the clothes via our Send-Back Program. We’ll then recycle the poly mailer for you.
Not sending back your Little Lentil clothes? The poly mailers can be recycled at any facility that recycles plastic bags (check with your local supermarket to see if they have a plastic bag recycling program).
100% Renewable Energy
We purchase renewable energy credits to offset 100% of our operational energy use.
